What Hallmarking Verifies

A hallmark is an independent, official mark stamped or lasered onto a piece confirming that its precious metal content matches what's advertised — 22K, 18K gold, 999/925 silver, or 950 platinum. It protects you from underweight or mixed-purity metal being sold as pure.

What Comes With Your Order

• Hallmark stamp on the piece itself, matching its listed purity
• A certificate stating metal type, purity, and gross/net weight
• Your invoice, itemising the metal value, making charge, and VAT separately

Verifying a Piece Yourself
